8. Ops Up / Ops Down "Open Pivot"

Ops = Open Pivots -


  • We use the open of the previous bar to identify Ops Up / Down.
    • We can also use the opening of the current bar the closer the time frame is to the next new bar as a pivot.
  • When it is Ops Up, the market is regarded long, and Ops down the market is regarded short. 
    • Also, consider other models that can come into play. For example, being above or below the moving average, early in the cycle count, etc.
